Dr Victoria Knowland speaks to Radio York about the ESRC-funded research project SleepSmart

SleepSmart is a four-year project investigating the role that sleep plays in memory and learning. The initial phase of the study sets out to explore the link between sleep and language development in children with ASD and language learning difficulties compared with their typically developing peers.

Dr Victoria Knowland, a researcher in the Sleep, Language and Memory Lab speaks to Jonathan Cowap on Radio York to introduce the research to families listening who may be interested in taking part.  She is joined by parent Natasha Thompson whose son has taken part in the project.
