Psychology Graduation 2014

Posted on 17 July 2014

Friday 18th July is a very proud day for the department as our BSc Psychology students graduate.

On Friday 18th July we welcome our graduating BSc Psychology students, together with their friends and families, as they celebrate their success at our graduation ceremony. Our graduates will take with them a scientific understanding of human behaviour and the mind, together with its basis in the brain and biology. They know how to make sense of numerical data and reach valid conclusions, to critically evaluate different ideas and explain complex ideas. This, we think, is a fantastic combination of skills for today’s graduate careers or as a foundation for further study.

They’ll have great memories of living and working in a beautiful and historic city. We know that many will have formed lifelong friendships and established interests and skills beyond their degree that they will carry into their lives beyond University. We hope they’ll keep in touch and let us know what happens! One of the best ways is to sign up to our York Psychology Graduates facebook group.
