We normally require prospective students to have a minimum standard of IELTS 6.5 or equivalent but we welcome students to our postgraduate courses who have IELTS 5.5 or equivalent if they have completed the nine-month Graduate Diploma in Academic Communication (Pre-Masters) programme at the University of York.
