Revision Week: Learning Community Newsletter

Posted on 10 January 2024

All the latest from the department

Welcome back everybody! I hope you all had a good break and are feeling refreshed before the assessment period starts next week. For those looking for a break from revision and writing some events are going on around campus this week (see below)

We appreciate this can be a stressful time in the build-up to assessments. So do take the time to look at this quick top-tips guide for managing stress and assessments for some ideas about how to both relax and be your most productive.

We are also organising a Writing Day on Thursday 11th January in James Q block from 09:00-17:00. This will be a nice supportive environment to get those last few essays written with plenty of breaks for tea and coffee (provided). I will be there with some colleagues working on some of my own writing and will be happy to discuss your work and the challenges we all face in putting ideas down on paper. If you are thinking of coming along please let me know by filling out this form
