Fusion Frontiers and Interfaces 2013

A postgraduate workshop exploring the frontiers of fusion research and the interfaces with related disciplines through presentations and discussion. Speakers include world-renowned experts in the fields of magnetic and inertial confinement fusion, space plasmas, technological plasmas and materials. The workshop will be held at the York Plasma Institute, University of York, and is an opportunity for postgraduate students and post-doctoral researchers to interact with leading researchers from government laboratories, academia and industry, and to learn about closely related fields.

Registration

The workshop is free to attend if you are from a DTN university (Durham, Liverpool, Manchester, Oxford and York) or the same university as one of our speakers (although students who are not part of the Fusion DTN will need to cover their own travel and accommodation). For all other attendees there may be a small charge. Places are limited and registration will be on a first-come-first-served basis.

If you are travelling to the workshop from another EU country, it may be possible to apply for funding through Fusenet. Please contact them directly for more information.
