Physics success in VC Awards

The Physics Undergraduate Admissions Team have won a Silver Award in the Excellence category of the Vice Chancellor's Awards for Outstanding Achievement for "an impressive approach to undergraduate recruitment"!

Huge congratulations - particularly to Dr Matt Probert (Senior Admissions Tutor) and Mrs Jo Coulthard (Undergraduate Admissions Administrator) who have lead the team so impressively.

Of course, this award is also a result of the enormous effort that so many staff and students put into our undergraduate recruitment throughout the year - not least of whom are our student guides. The Department and all our applicants are hugely appreciative of this effort which is so enthusiastically, professionally and willingly given. It is of immense importance to the department, and it is a great pleasure to see this recognised by the university through this award.
