York Physics achieves gender equality accreditation

The Department of Physics at York has been awarded "Juno Champion" status by the Institute of Physics, in recognition of its action to address the under-representation of women in university physics

The Department of Physics at York has received the highest level of accreditation within the Institute of Physics "Juno" scheme - the status of "Juno Champion".  The Juno scheme acknowledges the efforts of university physics departments to address the issues of gender imbalance in physics.
