At present the Ministry of Agriculture and The Department of Trade and Industry are discussing the future of crops for industrial use and it is very likely that arising from these discussions a new association will emerge. This new association will incorporate the Plant Protein Club, will certainly continue the activities now undertaken by this organisation but will also incorporate a number of new priorities and activities.

Therefore at present we have postponed the Metabolomics and Medicinal Compounds from Plants meeting until the new organisation has been established.
