Glytech has an extensive patent portfolio of granted and pending patent applications relating to various aspect of the Glytech glycosylation technology. The portfolio includes patent applications that protect microbial and plant transgenic cells, bioreactors for the modification of aglycones, regioselectively modified glucosides and activated nucleotide sugars, for example UDP-glucuronic acid, UDP-rhamnose. The portfolio also includes uses of glycosides as anti-microbial and anti-cancer agents, for example pro-apoptotic agents and adjuvants, which have improved solubility and bioactivity. Furthermore Glytech know-how enables the specific glycosylation of selected small molecules.

Licensing opportunities to access Glytech intellectual property are available.
