White Rose University Consortium

Collaboration, creativity and innovation

White Rose University Consortium

The White Rose University Consortium ensures effective collaboration between the three major research universities of York, Leeds and Sheffield.  The White Rose team encourages creativity and innovation to secure funding and resources to pursue their research, teaching and enterprise.

White Rose works with other regional and national bodies such as Yorkshire Forward to drive key initiatives that benefit both the universities and encourage inward investment into the region.

By combining strengths, particularly in science and technology, White Rose ensures that we prosper through unity and benefit from a range of projects. These include collaborative research, exploiting commercial and business opportunities, industrial partnerships and joint postgraduate scholarships.

Ongoing White Rose projects

Ongoing projects at York include the White Rose Computing Grid, the Centre for Excellence in the Teaching and Learning in Enterprise, a technology seedcorn fund, masters programmes in nanoscience and the Health Innovation Partnership.
