From the history of a brand of tea to surveying the bee, it has been a varied summer for a dozen University of York students who have been working as interns with two North Yorkshire-based employers.

Senior managers from a major Chinese industrial group, on a Continuing Professional Development course at the University of York, visited one of the city's major employers.


Dr Kin Kam, a University of York alumnus who runs Inclusive Innovations Ltd, has developed a patented invention called iiCAP which includes special support systems to secure spectacles or sunglasses to the peak of a sports cap.
