TBA-21 Sound Space opens at ZKM in Germany

The sound system and compositions from The Morning Line have been installed at ZKM in Karlsruhe, Germany as part of the "Sound Art. Sound as a Medium of Art" exhibition.

The installation "T-B A21 Sound Space" at ZKM in Karlsruhe Germany is derived from the project The Morning Line initiated by Thyssen-Bornemisza (TB-A 21), and includes 40 loudspeakers suspended from the ceiling of the ZKM foyer, plus four sub woofers. The ~30 compositions from The Morning Line will be played on the system. The installation will be opened by Francesca von Habsburg on 21st April with performances of three Morning Line pieces alongside an event celebrating 30 years of Touch Records with performances by Philip Jeck and other Touch artists. MRC staff have been working at ZKM to realise the installation.
