University Sinfonietta

This chamber orchestra is conducted by the MA conductors and over the course of a year they give three programmes of repertoire that has included Classical and contemporary pieces. Membership is based on the orchestral auditions at the beginning of each academic year.

Auditions for the University Sinfonietta are conducted alongside auditions for the University of York Symphony Orchestra at the beginning of Autumn term each year.
