Visit Days are held in February, March and April of each academic year. Applicants holding offers are welcome to attend a Visit Day. Visit Days give you an opportunity to come for an afternoon and find out more about the course, the School and the University.
First year students will give you a tour of the campus, including a typical study bedroom. This gives you the chance to speak to current students first hand about life within the School and the wider University community. Members of the teaching staff will talk to you in detail about the courses, and what it is like to be a student of The York Management School, including the amount of study involved, assessment and the support we provide.
Parents and guests are invited to attend their own meeting, run by the University, at the same time as your meeting, but we finish with an opportunity for both you and your guests to join us for refreshments when you can continue to talk to staff and students and ask any final questions.
To book your Visit Day please contact Admissions.
On Open Days, the School operates a stand in the Exhibition Centre. We also offer a talk which provides you with an introduction to the undergraduate programme. It is well worth coming on Open Day, as you get to see the campus, and more importantly, meet our students and staff! We normally run Open days in October and July. It is essential to book for Open Days. If you cannot make an Open Day, there are plenty of other opportunities to visit the University by making an independent visit.
