Co-operation between higher education and business is now widely recognised to have benefits for both sides. It stimulates knowledge transfer in both directions, leading to long-term partnerships that can open opportunities and improve returns and helps prepare students for future employment.
We pride ourselves on our focus on business engagement with strong and established links to business and industry providing valuable student, graduate, research and curriculum development opportunities.
The purpose of the Centre is to provide a flexible and tailored response to the needs of small and medium sized enterprises and public sector organisations, delivering impact for our research and learning enhancement for our students.
One of the aims of the work of the Centre is to disseminate the School’s research to policy makers and practitioners. It will also inform future programmes by raising understanding of contemporary and perceived future issues, themes and priorities in business.
