Per HansenPer Hansen is Professor at the Centre for Business History, Copenhagen Business School. His research and teaching interests include financial history, organizational culture and change, cultural branding, modern design. He has published several books and articles in Danish and English. He was the winner of the 2008 Newcomen prize for his article “Organizational Culture and Organizational Change: A Narrative analysis of the Transformation of Savings Banks in Denmark, 1965-1990” published in Enterprise & Society, 2007:4. Per H. Hansen is a VIP-blogger for the Danish business newspaper www.borsen.dk and a regular columnist at the weekly newspaper Weekendavisen, and he was the winner of the “FUHU Research Dissemination Prize 2010”. He is on the editorial boards of Management & Organisational History, Business History Review, Business History and the SSRN E-Journal History of Finance. He has been “Alfred D. Chandler, Jr., International Visiting Scholar” at the Harvard Business School and visiting scholar at UC Berkeley, Stockholm School of Economics, Rutgers University, and Stern School of Business where he was also an adjunct professor in the spring 2009. He is currently working on an analysis of central bank cooperation during the international financial crisis in 1931.
