Mads Mordhorst

Mads Mordhorst is Associate Professor at the Centre for Business History at Copenhagen Business School. His research and teaching interests include branding, nation branding, the food industry and cooperatives. In historical perspective he is primarily interested in how companies use history and memory in the creation of power, strategy, legitimacy and identity. Mads is co-director of the cross-disciplinary research program "National identity, branding, history and the company". His research within this program is connected h the field of national reputation management and the concept of nation branding, and he is working on a comparative analysis of companies and brands in Denmark, Sweden and Norway in a historical perspective.

Mads Mordhorst is also director of the Centre for Business History at Copenhagen Business School. The center employees 14 historians and the vision of the centre are to be a melting pot and laboratory for new perspectives and ideas in the field of business and society.
