It's always fun to find fossils of shells and bones, but ultimately they are the remains of dead bodies. When it comes to bringing ancient animals to life, trace fossils - such as footprints and burrows - are our direct record of behaviour. In this class, we will explore the huge variety of trace fossils you can find, and show some of the amazing stories they can tell us. From hunting the origins of ocean life to chasing dinosaurs along the Yorkshire Coast, this is the class for anyone interested in bringing long-gone creatures back to life.
