Public telephones
Public payphones are provided throughout the campus. In Colleges they are usually near the College reception. You can buy pre-paid phone cards from Your:Shop in Market Square and from some newsagents.
The nearest public payphones are in Alcuin College reception and Vanbrugh College reception.
Internal telephone
There is an internal telephone at the back of the wireless work area in the Open Zone on the ground floor of the JB Morrell Library where you can make calls to University telephone numbers.
Mobile phones
You can use your mobile phone to make and receive calls in the Open Zone on the ground floor of the JB Morrell Library, opposite the Lending Services desk.
To avoid disturbing people who are trying to study, please don't use your mobile phone anywhere outside this area, including in the Raymond Burton Library.
Other smaller libraries may ask you not to use your phone in the library at all.
