Minibus service to BLDSC Reading room at Boston Spa

Introduction
The University Library provides a free minibus service to the British Library Document Supply Centre (BLDSC) Reading Room at Boston Spa for research students, staff and undergraduates.
Availability
There is one trip per week on alternate Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the year, term and vacation. The pickup point is the car park in front of the Information Centre at 9:30am. It leaves the Reading Room at 4:15pm. All seats must be pre-booked.
Bookings and Cancellations
You can book a seat online through the Library Catalogue. Search for Minibus, login and select the date/s you want to go from the list available.
There are 8 seats and 4 reserve places. To cancel a booking, go to My Library Account, Bookings and cancel from there. If all the seats are booked this will create a space for someone on the Reserve list.
Advance Requests
Use the British Library online catalogue to check if BLDSC holds what you want to read. We strongly recommend that you request items in advance (up to a maximum of 16). Advance request forms are available from Lending Services, Help & Information and must be posted to the Reading Room. At least 6 working days' notice is required. In addition, you are allowed a maximum of 8 requests per day of visit in the Reading Room. This is strictly enforced by the Reading Room. These requests do not count against your Interlending allocation.
