If you think you have some research that would make a good Borthwick Publication, then we would be interested to hear from you.

Borthwick papers

  • Concern the history of the north of England, from the pre-conquest period to the 20th century
  • any subject area can be considered
  • papers are up to 12,000 words in length
  • papers will be refereed by experts in the subject before acceptance
