Our resources and services exist to support the learning, teaching, research, scholarship and other activities of the University. Members of the public are also welcome to use our printed and archival resources. We intend to provide a service quality and environment appropriate to a world-class University through our commitment to continuous improvement and innovation. Our strategy and work plans explain in more detail how we do this.
The Library & Archives consists of a variety of Libraries and the Borthwick Institute for Archives. We also work in collaboration with other libraries locally and nationally to provide access and borrowing schemes for part-time and distance-learning students and researchers. An increasing number of resources and services is available through our websites.
