Profile

Biography

Erica Gold is an Early Stage Researcher funded by the International FP7 Marie Curie Initial Training Network 'Bayesian Biometrics for Forensics (BBfor2)'.

Her research focuses on the calculation of likelihood ratios in forensic speaker comparison cases using phonetic and linguistic features. She will be looking to identify features that are useful speaker discriminants and begin to implement those into a likelihood ratio framework.

In addition to working on her PhD research, she is a member of the Forensic Speech Science Research Group and the coordinator for The Schwa Project within the research group.
