MA in Phonological Development

Students with no prior background in phonological development will take the 20-credit module

• Phonological development (L54M)

• Directed readings in phonological development (L56M)
• The emergence of structure from use (L15M)
• Quantitative methods (L33M)

Students with prior background in phonological development will take three 10-credit modules:

• Directed reading in phonological development (L56M)
• The emergence of structure from use (L15M)
• Quantitative Methods (L33M)

Plus one 10-credit module from below:

• Phonetics and phonology (L29M)
• Language variation and change (L19M)
• Psycholinguistics (L31M)

Students will take two 20 credits modules:

• Learning mechanisms (L20M)
• Topics in phonological development (L37M)

• Dissertation training 

• Research training seminar (L34M)
