  • Manages the Access Control database across the University
  • Provides the software to manage key/access cards

Who manages the system?

For general lock or operational issues with access, please enter a request on Planon.

Requests for access changes should be made to your departmental administrator who will record them on Planon.

  • Management of conferences and events at Heslington campus, King's Manor and the National Science Learning Centre
  • Management of student accommodation (KxStudent)

What does the system do?

  • University Facilities and Estate Management
  • Management of Estates jobs logged and tracked through the web
  • Room bookings. Request, view and amend/cancel a room booking
  • Make a Post Room booking. Disposals, delivery/collection, bulk mailing
  • Management of departmental Inventory assets, if required
  • Enables FM sections to enhance the standards of service delivered to the customer

Who manages the system?

Estates Services are responsible for dealing with maintenance issues and the Room Booking Office deal with room reservation requests. Report an issue or make a reservation via the Facilities Helpdesk

IT Support is responsible for Planon software issues
