Catherine joined SWRDU in January 2006, having previously worked as a practitioner within various areas of Children's Services in Hull for ten years. Most recently this was assessing young people with emotional, behavioural and psychological problems and working to support primary care services with their management, consulting with and referring to specialist services e.g. CAMHS where necessary.

Research interests

A psychology graduate now undertaking an MSc Applied Forensic Psychology, Catherine is developing a special interest in youth offending and youth justice and has general interests in child development, mental health and bereavement issues.
