 Master's Courses

**************************************************

The deadline for applications for the Spring 2013 Master's courses is 15th October 2012.

Don't miss out on an opportunity to study at one of the UK's top research departments at a top ten UK university; in the latest Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) York's English department came first for English research and the Linguistics department was second for linguistic research.

**************************************************

In the Spring term, the NSC administers two Master's programmes, one taught by the  Department of English and Related Literature and the other by the Department of Language and Linguistic Science.  Each programme is worth 30 Norwegian Study Points.

These courses are for students registered in an English Master's Programme at a Norwegian institution.  From Spring 2011, the opportunity to take linguistics modules will be extended to students taking Master's Programmes in Linguistics at Norwegian institutions.

Successful applicants may choose TWO MA modules offered by the relevant department and will be integrated with the British and other international MA students.

On application students who are accepted for this study programme will be given support by Lånekassen.

Further details about this course can be found using the buttons on the left.

Deadline for applications: 15th October 2012.
