Fordypning in English

The Norwegian Study Centre, in co-operation with the Department of English and Related Literature, offers a one-semester course called the English Fordypning.
The course run twice a year; in the autumn, starting early September and in the spring, starting early January.
Each Fordypning course consists of three compulsory modules:
1. Linguistics 2. Culture 3. Literature.
Each module is worth 10 Norwegian (20 UK) credits at the 200-Level. The full 30-credit course is recognised by Norwegian institutions of higher education.
The prerequisites for admission are:
1) For students currently studying at a Norwegian University or College:

2) For Norwegian nationals and other nationals residing in Norway who are not currently studying, e.g. teachers, applicants are assessed on an individual basis. Please contact us (before applying) with brief details of your experience and qualifications so that we can assess your eligibility for the course.
