HOUSING ANALYSIS and SURVEYS (HAS)
A COMMUNITIES AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT EXPERT PANEL
The Housing Analysis and Surveys (HAS) Expert Panel was one of three such panels established by the Communities and Local Government (CLG) department and operating between 2007 and 2010.
Professor Mark Stephens of the Department of Urban Studies (formerly of Centre for Housing Policy) was Lead Panel Member of the HAS Expert Panel.

Regeneration
and Economic Development Analysis Expert
Panel (REDA)
covering: analysis,
data and evidence on cities, regions, neighbourhoods,
as well as cross-cutting themes including regeneration,
liveability and quality of place.
Housing
Markets & Planning
Analysis (HMPA)
covering: analysis, data and evidence
on housing markets and planning.
The panels were intended to allow CLG analytical services staff to respond to policy needs in a flexible way through bringing in external specialists to provide informal advice, think-pieces and small-scale research.
