Ta-yu (John) Lee

Ta-Yu (John) Lee is a PhD student in the Centre of Health Economics, affiliated with the Health Policy Team.
He has an MSc degree in Economics (2006) from the University of Edinburgh and a BSc in Financial Management (2004) from the National Sun Yat-Sen University, Taiwan. He was also an exchange student at Saint Mary’s University, Canada, from 2002-2003.
John is under the supervision of Professor Peter C. Smith, researching the policy effect in National Health Insurance system. His research areas include contract for healthcare market, incentives on physician’s behaviour, and micro-econometrics models for health economics. He also has internship experience in Department of Health (DoH) and Bureau of National Health Insurance (BNHI) in Taiwan.
