How modules work

The modules listed on this page are available for the 2012/13 academic year. 

Modules for Stage 1 students

The first year (stage one) of the BA in History of Art includes five compulsory modules offering an eye-opening and rigorous introduction to the history of art and architecture.

Modules for Stage 2 and 3 students

These modules are designed for second and third year students and are available to those with a significant background in the History of Art.

Module sign-up - how to make your choices

• Collect a module choice form from the Department Office.
  
• Attend the module choice discussion forum in Week 5 (see your timetable for details).
• Read the module descriptions on the Department notice boards or online (see the columns on the right).
• If you need additional guidance, see your Supervisor in their Week 5 office hours to talk about your choices.
• Return your completed module choice form to the office by 10 am on Monday Week 6 (13th February, 2012).
