PC-MIS Open Day held in York:
The Department of Health Sciences greeted 7 representatives of NHS organisations across the country at an ‘informative’ and ‘useful’ PC-MIS Open Day on the 9th July 2009.
The members were presented with a summary of the key features of PC-MIS by Sasha Singh, Business Development Manager, and the key capabilities and functions of PC-MIS by IT Manager Byron George. The presentations were concluded by IT Trainer Chris Jones with a demonstration of PC-MIS in a clinical environment, for both supervisors and case workers.
The day was hailed a success by delegates who provided feedback. 100% of representatives considered the open day ‘worthwhile’, one member commented ‘the staff members that I met were very warm, knowledgeable and approachable’ and another said ‘it was good to see a product demonstrated, highlighting its benefits and for the staff involved to be interested in what we had to say.’
In response to our survey, 100% of delegates said the presentations ‘answered the questions they had’ about PC-MIS and its role in a clinical environment. One member commented that ‘everything worked well’ and another found the presentations ‘clear, interactive and appropriate.’
The Department will be holding another Open Day later in the year.
