1. How do I remove footers from case letters?
Footers will be on by default and can be easily turned off. Click here for a video tutorial on how to turn off footers.

2. Can documents be scanned to patient records?
Yes, documents in a variety of formats can be attached to individual clinical case notes.

3. Is there a central diary function?
Yes. PC-MIS has an in-built diary function so workers and supervisors can record clinical appointments and events (e.g. Holidays, meetings etc). Diary access can be shared between worker and supervisor accounts.

4. Can group sessions be recorded?
Yes. PC-MIS has an in-built function to record and report on group therapy sessions.

5. Can PC-MIS produce letters?
Yes. There are various standard letter templates which can be accessed from the individual patient record. Standard letter templates can be automatically populated with individual patient details and either printed by the worker or sent to a centrally managed administration team, to be processed. Letters are attached to the patient record.

6. Is there a user discussion forum?
Yes, this is used by the service leads and IAPT leads; other additional worker membership to the forum can be requested. The forum is used for providing information on workshops, new features and updates on PC-MIS. It also provides a platform for services to send and receive questions and exchange information with other sites.

7. How quickly can PC-MIS be implemented?
The system normally takes up to six weeks to install.

8. Does PC-MIS track when records are updated?
By default workers only involved in the care of the patient will have access to the individuals’ patient record. The clinical notes and contact data section within PC-MIS has a full audit trail. PC-MIS also has a security login audit capability and auditing of case creation, deletion and reassigning functionality. Role based access ensures a secure auditable process for worker and supervisor access to patient records.

9. What reports are produced by PC-MIS?
PC-MIS generates a wide range of reporting including the following ‘one click’ graphical reports automatically:
  • Service activity cumulative and dated reports
  • GP summary and service activity reports
  • IAPT Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports
  • IAPT Employment Support
  • IAPT data quality metrics report
  • IAPT KPI demographics report
  • Multi-site graphical report
  • Service level data report e.g. contacts outcomes, referrals, waiting times
  • Exportable reports – raw text data can be exported into other applications

10. How often is PC-MIS Updated, and is there a cost?
PC-MIS is regularly updated to incorpate any latest IAPT devlopments and Key Performance Indicator reporting updates. Updates are released approximately six times through out the year and are included free of charge as part of the PC-MIS support agreement. Back to top
