MSc Health Services Research

Programme Leader: Charlie Lloyd

Overview

This is a taught degree with multidisciplinary methods training to equip you to design and conduct a substantial research project.

The MSc can be undertaken over one year (full-time) or two years (part-time). You will focus on the production, critical appraisal and use of scientifically rigorous research evidence, applied to a range of health-related areas.

This programme is particularly relevant to science and social science graduates and health care professionals who wish to develop their health-related research and evaluation skills, and to people from any health-related background interested in a career in health services research. A number of our students on this pathway have upgraded to MPhil / PhD study.
