Requalification Course (2 days)

Overview

The courses develop first aiders to meet the requirements of the Health and Safety Executive regulations. Employers need to undertake a risk analysis of their workplace to determine what level of first aid cover is required and the number of first aiders needed to meet legal responsibilities. Within Health and Social care sector work places, the employer will need to additionally meet the Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.

Courses are normally delivered on the main University Campus at York.

Certificates will be issued upon successful completion, which are valid for three years.  Please note annual updates of skills is advised.
