- To work with the University Teaching Committee on raising the profile of teaching across the University
- To motivate and support staff to implement changes in line with key priorities for learning and teaching quality
- To support, identify and disseminate innovation and good practice in learning and teaching across the University
- To provide independent fora for discussion of learning and teaching issues across the University
- To report to Teaching Committee.
