Y9-Y13 students with high potential: As part of its Centenary the Biochemical Society have commissioned a short play from the Islington Youth Theatre on the subject of stem cells, their potential use in medicine and some of the ethical issues associated with this. Following the play researchers from the Department of Biology will be on hand to discuss current stem cell research. Pupils will also have the chance to interact with displays highlighting some of the techniques used in modern medical biology.
