Curriculum projects

The Department of Education sees the development of innovative teaching materials, based on the best available research and scholarship, as critically important in improving teaching and learning, and in making the bridge between research and practice.

Science Education projects

The University of York Science Education Group (UYSEG) has an international reputation for innovative research-informed curriculum development which has had a real impact on practice in the UK and beyond. It has developed a series of courses for the 11-18 age range, using context-led approaches and emphasising scientific literacy.
