Department of Economics Ranking 2011

The University of York is ranked at number 63 in the world (8th in the UK) in the 2011 Tilburg University Economics Ranking and 35th in the world (6th in the UK) in the Times Higher Education rankings.

The 2011 Tilburg University Economics Ranking has been released. It covers publications during the time frame 2006-2010. The University of York is ranked at number 63 in the Top 100. This is an improvement from the previous ranking of 69 and puts York 8th among UK departments of economics.

In the recent world rankings of social science discipline areas by the Times Higher Education the University of York (including economics) came 35th in the world and 6th in the UK.
