Research Details
My research is in the area of speech perception and word recognition. I am interested in how multiple speech cues are interpreted and integrated when we understand speech and how this is affected by variability in production. I use eye-tracking and the visual world paradigm to investigate how speech cues are interpreted and integrated in real time and I use learning paradigms to manipulate the variability in the speech signal.
