The Undergraduate Research Training Workshop aims to prepare students for independent political research by guiding them through the different steps involved in producing a research report.
Each week, the lectures and workshops develop skills which build on each other, so that students gain experience in defining research questions, conducting literature reviews, designing research strategies and implementing them, and presenting results. Along the way, students will be introduced to some basic quantitative and qualitative techniques, including interviewing, surveying, and analysing the results.
