Transport

The University of York is set next to the small village of Heslington on the outskirts of the City of York.

A limited coach service will provide free travel from the City centre at 8.30am each day, and at 7.00pm back from Campus.

 

Buses

Unibus (operated by York Pullman) is the University of York's preferred transport supplier with the No. 44 route going from the Railway Station and City Centre to both Heslington East and West Campus, taking approximately 20 minutes- further information can be found here.

There are also frequent ftr No. 4 buses operated by First York, and a Park & Ride service.



Taxis

From the Station to the Campus, it will take place approx 15 minutes by Taxi. The University's preferred Taxi company is Ebor

To reach the campus by foot from the City will take approx 45 minutes.
