Campus

Bed and breakfast accommodation (and evening meals) is available through the University’s Conference Park accommodation office. As availability is limited, early booking is recommended.

It should be noted that as the conference takes place out of term time, there will be no open access catering facilities on campus in the evenings. Delegates should therefore book in advance for dinner if they wish to stay on campus in the evenings.

Please note: Closing date for accommodation bookings is end of the day on
21st July 2011. Any additional bookings or amendments after that date should be sent to conferences@york.ac.uk or telephone +44 (0)1904 328431, and will be subject to availability.

 

City of York

The city of York has hotels in all price categories, and is a 30-minute walk or a 10-minute bus ride to campus. There are many restaurants in the city as well as historic sites of cultural interest. A limited shuttle service will also run between the city and the campus during the conference. Book directly through visitYork website as early as possible. The conference will take place at the height of the tourist season, and some hotels are already full.
