Flesh and Bone

Sensational songwriter, producer and vocal/body percussionist MaJiKer joins award-winning vocal ensemble juice to present a theatrical show fusing pop, electronica and classical music.  Following their residency at the Fondation Hartung Bergman/Les Nuits Carrées festival in May 2012, they have created a set that includes beautifully dolorous harmonies inspired by Georgian male voice choirs, Hebridean hymn singing and original pop. Elsewhere there are beatbox riffs, fiendishly tricky Balkan body percussion, loop station and reinvented remixes.  Expect Erasure mash-ups, Kraftwerk synths, Guns ‘n’ Roses transported to the forest and Dawn Penn in sultry three-part harmony.
