The University is required by law to comply with the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Act 2001 (SENDA). One aspect of this is that web content provided by educational institutions must be accessible to disabled users.

Our accessibility standards

We provide guidance to web authors based on the most current Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0).

Note that accessibility issues relate not just to the presentation of web pages and other documents, but also to the way that content is written and presented. Information about accessibility is included throughout our advice on creating content.
