Staff in the Communications Office work with departments to help them achieve their objectives. We offer support and advice on a range of communication aspects; please get in touch to find out more about how we can help. 

Academic departments

A holistic approach to identifying your stakeholders, and planning your marketing and communications is important. A programme is in place to help each department develop a communications and marketing strategy. If your department is not yet in the programme, please get in touch with us.

The programme includes:

  • audience profiling – to identify all your stakeholders, including research funders, current students and staff, professional partners and others
  • an audit of current marketing efforts – including marketing materials for students and research partners, presentations, websites
  • assessments of media profile
  • internal communications
