All studio flats are on 51-week lets. Please note that the studio flats are intended for couples - no children are permitted to stay in the studio room. (see Accommodation prices for the cost of the studios).
Each studio flat has an open plan with distinct areas for sleeping, studying, cooking/dining, a living room area and an en-suite shower room.
If you use a television in your room, you will need to purchase a Television Licence as this is not provided by the University. There is no guarantee that you will be able to get good TV reception.
Each flat contains a distinct dining area with a dining table and two chairs and a distinct kitchen area with easy to clean lino flooring. Facilities provided in the kitchen area are:

As studio-flats are self contained, they do not come under the cleaning service level agreement and you will be responsible for cleaning your flat and shower pod yourself. Cleaning equipment is provided in your flat.
You are responsible for removing all of your rubbish and recycling to the recycling bays and general waste bins outside the block.

There is a laundry room on-site in the Wentworth College nucleus building.
To use the machines you need to purchase a card from the machine in James College Reception at the Roger Kirk Centre. Cards cost £5 and you must use the correct change (5 x £1 coins). Your card will have £3.50 credit to use in the machines which should be enough for your first wash.
As well as the general computer room, available to all students, located on the ground floor of the college nucleus building (room W/036), you also have 24 hour access to a Graduate Only study space on the 2nd floor: W/202.
This is located on the ground floor opposite the entrance to The Edge and is open to postgraduates 24 hours a day. The room contains 2 table tennis tables, a table football game, a TV and DVD player and also has a range of DVDs and games. Controls for the TV and Table tennis bats and balls can be signed out from the porter.
This common room provides a comfortable and quiet relaxing social space for all postgraduate students, and is open 24 hours a day.
The Wentworth common room is a shared space and is also used as the Staff Common Room.
D4 is a designated Quiet block.
