Block G has 24 rooms and is divided into three self-contained flats. The ground floor flat has six study bedrooms and a communal kitchen. The first and second floor flats each have nine study bedrooms and a communal kitchen.
The first and second floor flats share a main entrance which gives access to both upper floors. The ground floor flat entrance is separate.

Kitchens facilities
The ratio for kitchen sharing is six (ground floor) or nine (upper floors) residents per kitchen.
Each kitchen is fitted with:
- One or two hobs
- One oven
- One or two fridges
- One freezer
- Microwave
- Kettle
- Ironing board
- Toaster
Please note that, whilst we supply an ironing board per kitchen, irons are not provided.
Bathroom facilities
Block G has private ensuite bathroom facilities.
Cleaning
Cleaning arrangements for your accommodation will be displayed on kitchen notice boards.
Recycling
Residents are responsible for the collection of and emptying of recyclable items within their flat. Each kitchen will have recycling provisions. Recycling bags are sited in all kitchen areas. Recycling bays are conveniently situated outside each accommodation block.

Electrical socket outlets
There are limited electrical socket outlets. Residents are advised to supply fused multiple bar extension cables as three-way adaptors are not permitted in our rooms and will be removed by the fire officer.
Internet
Internet connection via wired network is available in each study room. Television aerial sockets are also provided. You will need to purchase a Television Licence as this is not provided by the University.
