Welfare
At Halifax College the welfare team includes the Provost, Dean and College Administrator, as well as six College Tutors, who are graduate students who live on site and take the main responsibility for one or two courts and the students that live in them. Welfare services range from providing emergency help if necessary to offering ongoing support to giving low-level encouragement.

The College Administrators works in the on-site office and deal with accommodation, student welfare, social events, general enquiries, etc. Their usual office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm. Please note, this is a job share position: Fran Stanton, Monday - Wednesday; Cath Dickinson, Thursday and Friday.
The University Security Centre has 24 hour staffing; they move around the campus, patrolling and providing a safe environment. Health and Safety staff members oversee such issues as fire safety.
