Car parking at Halifax College

A very limited number of permits are available to students who have been allocated a room in Halifax College and who are studying certain courses.   

Please note that you should not bring a car unless you know in advance that you have been allocated a parking permit. Permits are valid for limited, designated parking at the residence and not for any other location on campus.

Permits are also available for students in University family housing. Please email parking-permits@york.ac.uk for further information.

Under section 9 of the University Parking Regulations, students with a disability, medical condition or special need may apply for a Campus parking permit.
